Lil Group Ltd is a Waikato based privately owned company with a small team passionate about creating affordable portable spaces for our customers.

After 15 busy years building and project managing throughout New Zealand, Paul Sadlier decided a move back to the mighty Waikato was what was needed to create a better work/life balance for him and his young family. Lil Group are proud to offer it’s staff a four-day working week with our team working Monday to Thursday whilst allowing family time over a three day weekend. When our team are in the factory, they are working hard to deliver well-built cabins that are fit for our customers needs and locations.

Our team aim to provide a well-priced option for those needing a lil extra space at their home or beach property with the flexibility to make the space theirs with additional extras or changes to our standard plans. We understand that in an increasingly competitive property market space matters and look forward to helping more customers solve their space problems with our portable cabins.

What is the Lil Group Process?

1. Provide a quote

We base a quote around your wants and needs for your portable cabin. We send a detailed quote to you via our Xero quoting system and spend time critiquing the quote until you are happy with it.

2. You confirm your cabin purchase

We send through a 50% deposit to secure your build and book you into our next available build and delivery date.

3. First in, first serve

We work on a first in first serve basis for build dates to keep it fair for all customers.

4. Choose colours and materials

You choose your joinery and cladding colours and options and let us know all your placements for things like power points and door positions. Once you have given us these, we provide you with a floor plan to check all details are correct and make your product orders.

5. Materials arrive

Your materials arrive in the factory ready for your build and our builders get your cabin underway.

6. Cabin progress

We check in with you about your cabin progress and to confirm your delivery date and time. We will ask some questions around your site and access so that we can ensure your delivery day will run smoothly. We will send through your final invoice which is due for payment the day prior to delivery.

7. Delivery day

Our team will deliver your cabin to site. They will spend around 2 hours on site to make sure that the cabin is level and to attach things like the deck and veranda, spouting and down pipes and hand over your keys.

8. Enjoy

You get to enjoy your new Lil Cabin!
