All of our cabins are generally built inside our factory for ease of process, however, please touch base if you have a tricky section and want to explore this option.
Yes, our cabins walls and ceilings are insulated with wool and the floors are insulated with polystyrene blocks.
Our cabins are generally transported to site on a large trailer and moved into place by our builders. If your cabin exceeds the 6 x 3m length in size we use a third party trucking company to move your cabin to site.
You sure can! Simply let us know what will work best for your section and requirements and we will work on a layout with you.
Yes, you can add additional features to your cabin. We have a list of popular additions, but let us know if you have something outside the box that we can help you with as well.
We aren’t able to apply for your consent for your cabin on your behalf, however we can provide any information from our end that you may need to include in your consent details such as electrical certificates.
Yes, we have rental cabins available in our small and medium sizes. We have the details listed on these on our ‘rent a cabin’ tab.

The Building Act 2004 has an exemption that covers the construction of small buildings such as garden sheds, cabins or sleepouts that are of less than 30m2 from the requirement for a building consent, provided that some conditions are met. Please read guidance to make sure that the installing of a cabin at your property will fall within the conditions of exemption 3. building.govt.nz
Yes, we ask you to choose your colours for your joinery and exterior cladding and provide colour charts to help with this.
Yes, we would love to have you come on site to see our cabins. Our team works Monday – Thursday and are happy to arrange a time for you to come and visit the factory. Please call or email us to arrange a time.
